Swiss-type lathes
CNC Swiss-type lathes are available in single and twin-spindle configurations with 5 to 6 controlled axes and guide bushing systems, enabling high-accuracy machining of bar stock up to 42 mm in diameter. They are used for high-volume production of complex small parts in automotive, medical, electronics, and instrumentation industries.

Swiss-type CNC lathes are engineered for high-precision, high-efficiency machining of small-diameter, long-bar stock. Their unique guide bushing design provides exceptional rigidity close to the cutting zone, minimizing deflection and ensuring micron-level tolerances even on slender parts.
Modern models feature up to 9 axes (including Y and C), allowing simultaneous turning, milling, drilling, and threading operations in a single setup. This capability makes them ideal for manufacturing shafts, pins, surgical components, micro-connectors, and precision valves without secondary handling.
Both movable and fixed guide bushing options are available, accommodating a wide range of part geometries—from flexible thin-walled tubes to short, rigid components. Twin-spindle machines enable full automation: primary machining on the main spindle, part transfer, and backside finishing on the sub-spindle—all without operator intervention.
KNAVI GROUP supplies Swiss-type lathes from top Asian manufacturers including CHIAH CHYUN, Jianke, JSWAY, and TORNOS. All machines undergo pre-shipment inspection, come with full English documentation, up to 2 years of warranty, and optional on-site commissioning worldwide.
