LT-400M CNC Turning-Milling Center
A high-performance CNC turning-milling center with a 30° slant bed, designed for comprehensive machining of complex parts. The model combines the functions of a lathe and a machining center thanks to the C-axis and live tooling, allowing turning, milling, drilling, and tapping operations in a single setup. This eliminates repositioning errors and significantly reduces processing time.
Key Advantages:
Versatility of Turning-Milling Machining — the presence of a C-axis (indexing accuracy 0.001°) and 12 live tools on the turret transforms the machine into a full-fledged machining center. Simultaneous interpolation along C-X and C-Z axes is possible for machining complex cams and non-circular surfaces.
High Rigidity and Precision Construction — the main bed is a one-piece casting from high-quality Meehanite cast iron (FC30) with reinforced ribs, providing excellent rigidity for heavy-duty and high-speed cutting. The 30° slant bed creates an ideal support base with a low center of gravity.
Precision High-Speed Axes — the X and Z axes are equipped with absolute AC servo motors and pre-tensioned, backlash-free C3 class precision ball screws. This guarantees high positioning accuracy and minimal thermal deformation with traverse speeds of X: 20 m/min, Z: 24 m/min.
High-Precision Linear Guides — heavy-duty zero-clearance linear rolling guides provide excellent contour cutting accuracy, low friction, and long service life.
Powerful Live Tooling — live tools with a motor power of 3.7/5.5 kW and torque of 35 N·m are capable of performing complex milling operations. Live tool speed is adjustable in the range of 10–5000 rpm.
Powerful and Precise Spindle — the spindle features P4 class precision bearings (front support: 1 double-row roller + 2 angular contact ball bearings), ensuring high machining accuracy and long-term stability. Spindle speed is adjustable in the range of 30–4000 rpm.
Reinforced Tailstock — a programmable hydraulic tailstock with an MT5 taper and 100 mm quill travel provides reliable support for long workpieces.
Advanced CNC Systems — the machine can be equipped with MITSUBISHI M70-2A or FANUC 0i-TF control systems with an 8.4" color LCD display, offering easy programming, extensive functionality, and interactive programming support.
Collision Protection — an axis collision protection device absorbs and reduces impact force, maintaining machine accuracy in case of unexpected events.
Strict Quality Control — each machine undergoes a 100-hour run-in test, geometry inspection with a laser interferometer, and a test workpiece machining to guarantee accuracy.
