Key Advantages of the AF70 EDM Machine

Equipment Purpose

The machine is designed for sinker EDM operations: creating slots and holes, marking, finish machining of hard-to-cut materials, 3D contouring, as well as precision finishing of parts and tools made from electrically conductive metals.

Monolithic Construction

The integrated cast C-frame bed provides enhanced rigidity, long-term geometric stability, and high positioning accuracy. This configuration also helps save valuable floor space in the production area.

Fixed Worktable

The stationary table position eliminates the influence of workpiece weight and dielectric fluid on machining accuracy. Additionally, this arrangement makes it easier for the operator to monitor the process and make necessary adjustments in real time.

Expanded Database of Technological Parameters

The machine's memory contains pre-configured machining modes for various materials: steel, aluminum, hardened steels, and titanium alloys, compatible with copper, graphite, or tungsten-copper electrodes. The complete set of parameters can be activated with a single command.

Real-Time Adjustment Flexibility

During operation, the operator can modify machining parameters and save custom settings for reuse in future tasks.

Advanced CNC System

The powerful controller supports coordinate rotation, machining of complex free-form and spherical geometries. Programs can be created directly at the operator panel in both dialog and visual modes. All necessary software comes pre-installed.
