Description
The VMC-1165 Vertical Machining Center is a high-tech equipment designed and manufactured using modern advancements in mechanics, electrical engineering, and hydraulics. The machine stands out for its outstanding characteristics, wide technological range, high precision, and productivity.
Functionality: Drilling, boring, milling, spotfacing, reaming, tapping, linear and circular interpolation, helical interpolation.
The machine is built on a classic C-frame (portal) design with three linear guides.
Direct-drive spindle: A rigid coupling connects the motor to the spindle, eliminating the noise and vibrations inherent in belt-driven systems.
Each axis is driven by a servo motor connected via a precision coupling directly to a pre-tensioned ball screw. The pre-tension increases the drive's rigidity and accuracy.
The Z-axis is equipped with a counterbalance system to ensure smooth and stable movement of the spindle head.
The ball screw bearing supports are configured in a "three at the front, two at the rear" arrangement, which increases drive rigidity and reduces axial vibrations.
Base components (Bed, column, table, saddle) are made from high-quality alloyed cast iron and undergo multi-stage artificial aging to relieve internal stresses. The design of all elements is optimized using the Finite Element Method (FEM) to achieve maximum rigidity.
Ball screws and linear guides are automatically lubricated with precisely metered oil via a centralized lubrication system.
