Description
Centerless Grinding Machine M1040B:
Versatility of machining methods: The machine supports two main operating modes: through-feed grinding (for mass production machining of cylindrical surfaces of shafts and rings) and manual plunge grinding (for machining stepped, tapered, and complex cylindrical surfaces).
High stability and rigidity of the machine bed: The bed is cast from high-quality cast iron and has undergone heat treatment. This ensures minimal deformation, high wear resistance, and the retention of precision throughout its entire service life.
Precision spindle system: The grinding and regulating wheels feature an overhung (cantilever) design for ease of maintenance. The grinding wheel spindle utilizes multi-segment long-sleeve hydrodynamic oil bearings, while the regulating wheel spindle is supported by a solid tapered plain bearing (1:30 taper), guaranteeing the highest rotational accuracy and vibration-free operation.
High-precision feed mechanism: The feed guideways of the regulating wheel head feature a dovetail design with needle rollers, and the movement is actuated via a differential lead screw. This construction allows for exquisitely precise micro-feeds (down to 0.002 mm per division).
Effective hydraulic dressing system: The reciprocating motion of the dressers for both the grinding and regulating wheels is driven by a hydraulic system. The system is equipped with infinitely variable speed control, allowing for the maintenance of the ideal geometry and sharpness of the abrasive wheels.
Modern electrical control: The rotational speed of the regulating wheel is controlled by an AC variable frequency drive (VFD/inverter). This ensures smooth starting, precise maintenance of the set RPM, and the flexibility to adapt grinding parameters to different materials and tasks.
