Horizontal Boring Machine TPX6111B/2
The high-precision horizontal boring machine is designed for complex metalworking operations: rough and finish boring, drilling, milling, threading, and other operations on large-sized workpieces.
Key Features:
Rugged Base Construction. The bed, column, and carriages are made of high-quality cast iron with reinforced ribbing (cross ribs). This provides exceptional rigidity and vibration resistance even under maximum loads.
High-Precision Spindle Unit. Three-layer spindle unit design: facing chuck spindle, hollow spindle (boring sleeve), and main spindle (boring bar). The spindle (bar) is made of 38CrMoAlA alloy steel with nitriding (surface hardening) and polishing.
Performance & Smooth Travel. Spindle drive – economical single-speed 7.5 kW motor. Speed and feed gearbox – hydraulic shifting (4 hydraulic cylinders). 22 spindle speeds (8–1000 rpm) with fast, accurate, and easy shifting.
Safety & Overload Protection. Built-in safety clutches in the feed and rapid traverse mechanisms. In case of overload, the clutch automatically disengages, preventing damage to internal components.
Intelligent Clamping System. Table, carriage movement, and spindle head lifting – via electromagnetic clutches. Diamond-shaped clamping mechanisms provide automatic locking after positioning. Electro-hydraulic interlock system: only one moving part is unclamped at a time; the others are automatically locked.
High Positioning Accuracy. 90° table indexing (4 fixed positions) – using an optical sight (microscope). Guarantees the highest accuracy for "through" boring operations.
