Description
B-4 CNC Horizontal Boring and Milling Machine
A powerful CNC horizontal boring and milling machine, serving as the flagship of the series without a facing head. The B-4 model is designed for high-productivity machining of large housing parts, brackets, and plates in both single-piece and batch production environments with increased demands on working area and rigidity.
Key Advantages:
Maximum Working Area — the machine boasts the largest travels in the B series: table cross travel (X) is 1800 mm, spindle head vertical travel (Y) is 1400 mm, and table longitudinal travel (Z) is 1400 mm. Spindle travel (W) is 600 mm, enabling machining of large workpieces.
Powerful Spindle Unit — the 110 mm diameter spindle features stepless speed regulation in the range of 10–1100 rpm and an accurate stop function, providing the necessary torque and optimal cutting conditions for heavy milling and boring operations.
Closed-Loop Precision Axes — the X, Y, and Z axes are equipped with Spanish FAGOR linear scales, forming a closed-loop control system. This guarantees the highest stability and reliability of positioning accuracy, which is critical when machining critical components.
Powerful Independent Drives — each feed axis is driven by an independent AC servo motor directly connected to high-precision ball screws. This ensures high dynamics, smooth movement, and positioning accuracy even when working with large and heavy workpieces.
Advanced CNC System — the machine is equipped with an imported CNC system capable of simultaneous 4-axis control, enabling complex multi-coordinate operations, including machining of inclined surfaces and complex contours in a single setup.
High-Quality Base Components — the machine's large-scale components (bed, column, table) are designed according to best global practices for premium-class machine tools, possessing a high rigidity margin and potential for future upgrades, guaranteeing long-term geometric accuracy.
Application Area:
Designed for high-precision machining of large housing parts, brackets, plates, and other workpieces in various industries: construction and road machinery, production of large automotive components, aerospace industry, power engineering, production of large molds and dies, and electric motor manufacturing. The absence of a facing head makes this machine an optimal choice for tasks requiring maximum productivity in milling and boring operations on large-sized parts.
