Description
P-4 CNC Horizontal Boring and Milling Machine
A powerful CNC horizontal boring and milling machine with a moving table, designed for heavy-duty and high-precision machining of large-scale components. The P-4 model combines an extended work envelope, a powerful spindle unit with a facing head, and precision axes, delivering exceptional productivity, accuracy, and stability in boring, milling, drilling, and tapping operations for both one-off and serial production.
Key Advantages:
Maximum Working Envelope — the machine features significant axis travels: table longitudinal travel (Z) — 1400 mm, table cross travel (X) — 1800 mm, spindle head vertical travel (Y) — 1600 mm. The spindle extension (W) is 600 mm, and the facing head slide travel (U) is 200 mm, enabling the machining of workpieces of various sizes and configurations.
Powerful Spindle Unit with Facing Head — the machine is equipped with a 110 mm diameter spindle with stepless speed regulation from 10 to 1500 rpm and a torque of 1029 N·m. The 670 mm diameter facing head, with speeds from 7 to 165 rpm and a slide travel of 200 mm, allows large-diameter boring and machining of large components.
High Productivity and Power — the spindle is driven by a 40 kW motor, providing high torque for heavy cutting. The maximum drilling diameter is 65 mm, and the maximum boring diameter is 300 mm.
High-Precision Rotary Table — the machine features a built-in CNC rotary table (B-axis) with 360° positioning, allowing multi-sided machining of complex parts in a single setup, improving accuracy and reducing auxiliary time.
Precision Positioning Accuracy — high positioning accuracy (0.018 mm for linear axes) and repeatability (0.012 mm) ensure stable machining quality for critical components.
High Table Load Capacity — the work table, measuring 1400×1250 mm with T-slots, can support loads up to 5000 kg, allowing the machining of large and heavy workpieces.
Application Area:
Designed for high-precision and heavy-duty machining of large housing parts, brackets, plates, and other workpieces across various industries: heavy engineering, power engineering, shipbuilding, production of large pumps and compressors, and oil and gas equipment. The presence of the facing head makes this machine indispensable for large-diameter boring and machining complex parts that demand high accuracy and productivity.
